Foreign languages are extremely important to students' education. After taking my first Spanish course, I saw a significant incr

ease in my English grade. As a student in Spanish, I learned how to form verbs and verb phrases in that language. Learning about verbs and verb phrases in a different language gave me a different perspective about the same parts of speech in English. This new knowledge made English class much easier, and I received good grades in both classes last year. Learning foreign languages helps students in many different subjects. Ian wrote a argumentative speech to convince the school board to adopt more foreign language classes at his school. Do the examples from this part of Ian's speech support his position? A) no, because they do not give a detailed explanation of the benefits
B) yes, because they explain specifically how the classes helped him
C) yes, because they state that Ian took a Spanish class
D) no, because they do not give specific information

Match the words below with their correct part of speech by looking at their suffixes. exonerate ? adjective impeccably 2 adverb
Anarel [89]

Answer:

1. Palpable - adjective

2. Impeccably - adverb

3. Deduction - noun

4. Exonerate - verb

Explanation:

1. Palpable - is an intense feeling that is as good as being touched. It is an adjective because it is descriptive.

2. Impeccably- Because of the -ly suffix attached to the root word, impeccable, we can deduce that the word is an adverb that tells us how impeccable or without faults a certain thing is.

3. Deduction - This is a noun because it is the name of a process. Deduction is inference or subtraction as the case may be.

4. Exonerate - This is an act of absolving a person of a fault. A verb is an action word or a doing word.

Which sentence does not have faulty parallelism? A. A high-fiber diet allows the dieter to eat unlimited amounts of many green
Flura [38]

The answer is D.

"Keep", "factor", and "calculate" are all verbs in the list of things the new system allows teachers to do. The other sentences are inconsistent with their list of verbs/adjectives/nouns. Thus, option D is the only one that is grammatically correct.

I am not too good at explaining, so let me know if you are still confused.

Hope this helps! :)
