Earth's physical form depends of if people want to go fishing, hiking, hiking, etc. Method of transportation. We need to have smooth ground to bike or drive on. A highway isn't going to be in the middle of the mountain. We need to have a good solid surface. Choice of occupation. Earth has a physical feature of like I said, mountains, plains, oceans, etc. We want to live in a place that has good resources, and good weather. All of these things depend on physical features of Earth.
