allsm [11]

This answer depends on the city in question.

B is the most all encompassing answer as all other options are examples of a city administrator.

Some cities vest the parks, trails, etc with the Public Works department. Other cities put it under the Director of Parks and Recreation.

Others have a manager for public lands.

How to write a paragraph starting with i was awakened by a loud noise one night
natita [175]
I was awakened by a loud noise one night. I, Heather Greene, remained quiet for what seemed like forever trying to wrap my head around what could have made such a din. I couldn’t bring myself to go back to bed after hearing such a noise so I put on my house shoes, picked up my baseball bat and slowly headed towards the door.

Why did the soviets not allow people to leave occupied East Germany
kolezko [41]
Its been a while since I did this topic, but I believe it was mostly because under communism there was little work for intellectuals, so they were often the ones who left the country. This resulted in a 'brain drain', a lack of knowledgable people. I seem to remember reading about the entire maths department of a university just up and leaving at one point. You could also argue that it was damaging for the image of communism if so many people were trying to leave.
