The National Organization for Women (NOW) is an American civil rights activist organization which has more than five lakh members across US.

It fought for the equal rights for women and women suffrage. It was founded in order to help women realize their importance in exercising their rights for the welfare of the society. Today it is the largest feminist organisation working for the sake of promoting the political, social and emotional interest of the women.
