alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

more; more

Explanation:

When communicating with other people through internet, there are a lot of factors of communication that are not person. The biggest one is non-verbal communication such as expression, intonation, and small gestures.

Because of this, people tend to fill these missing factors by their own. This made the person on the internet looks more interesting that they actually are since we filled out the missing characters with something that we see as ideal.

Write as if you are and immigrant in the 19th century who has recently come to America. Describe where you are from and why you
Tatiana [17]

Most European immigrants who came to the United States found places to settle and work to support their families because they formed colonies in the unpopulated areas of the country.

I am an Irish immigrant in the United States, what characterizes me?

I am an Irish immigrant who came to the United States in the 1850s to this country in search of new opportunities because of a great famine in my country.

The famine caused many of my neighbors and compatriots to travel together to the United States. When we arrived, we formed several neighborhoods in different states where we were able to find jobs, housing, and education for our families.

The relationship with the Americans has not been bad, they have received us in a good way and have adopted some of our customs such as Saint Patrick's Day. In addition, our musical customs have influenced several American rock groups.

What more could the government have done to support the Ireland famine ?
Whitepunk [10]
Since they viewed it as a great way to 'decrease the surplus population', having a different, more sympathetic outlook would have helped. Giving them food they could cook and eat would also have helped: the Irish had a lot of trouble trying to prepare and eat the Indian meal they sent. They could also have opened more soup kitchens, told the landlords to show a little leniency and stop evicting people because heir livelihoods were gone and their means of paying rent with them. But they wanted to get rid of the Irish, and so they did. There was a famine in the Scottish Highlands in 1846 and because of charitable efforts nowhere near as many people died. They could have saved them by showing charity, but they didn't.
