Negritude is cultural artistic and literary movement launched by French Speaking black intellectuals in the 1930s.

Explanation:

Négritude is a cultural movement that found avenues of expression through arts literature and widely public performance.

It was started by French speaking black graduates who came from African colonies of France or belonged to the parent country of France. Sometimes, they also came from the Caribbean.

These black intellectuals converged around issues of race identity and supported black movements to go against French imperialism in their native continent.
