Answer: a. culturally specific principles that govern how and when and to whom we express emotion.

Explanation:

Display Rules:

Display rules are cultural norms that guides us on how to express our emotions in the right way. It doesn't only tell an individual where and when to express their emotions appropriately but also to what length these emotions can be expressed

Social norms can sometimes suggest times when an emotion may require to be not expressed but he kept inside.

Some cultures it's only appropriate to cry at a funeral but not at the wedding one must surpress those emotions in a wedding. It a way of controlling the effect of one's emotions on themselves and on others.

For example if you go to visit a sick friend and they are extremely sick that it really looks terrible one can not express their emotions such as being shocked , sad about the situation because of how it will make this other person feel.

Answer:

"Inconsistency" seems to be the correct response.

Explanation:

  • It might be because for someone else makes a decision and those whose intervention does not in itself follow the values, everything just indicates there's conflict throughout his words and deeds as well as his principles.
  • This would be the justification that the second hypothesis seems to be inconsistent with people's perceptions and values.

At the same time American oil consumption was rising but domestic oil production was declining. Policymakers in Washington didn´t believe that Arab oil exporters were willing to risk to lose the U.S. market.

But they did, and this, combined with the Palestine-Israel conflict, led to the oil crisis of 1973 when an oil embargo imposed by OPEC, led to fuel shortages and sky-high prices.
