The answer is B. They were not religiously tolerant and enforced people to believe in their religion. You can rule out A immediately because "worked hard to succeed" is what Puritans are known for. You can also rule out C because they wanted everyone to be "pure" with knowledge. The answer D can be eliminated because you should have read that somewhere in a history textbook. Hope this answer helps! :)

7. Explain the controversy among Genie's team of doctors and researchers.
iragen [17]

The controversy among Genie's team of doctors and researchers is "based on how well to cater for Genie and how best to measure her responses to the treatment."

This is evident in the fact that many researchers and doctors wanted to examine Genie for various reasons.

Genie is a feral child whose case was popular in the 1970s when she broke free from isolation.

Some doctors and researchers seek to understand the psychological and psychiatric effects Genie has suffered.

Some believe she's used as a human guinea pig or lab rat.

Others believe her situation cannot be redeemed, given that her condition is difficult to evaluate.

Some researchers concluded that Genie's situation was just exploited for professional and financial gains.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that Genie's situation is a delicate situation that made many doctors and researchers disagree on many practices.

LUCKY_DIMON [66]

No taxation without representation means American colonist were taxed by the British Parliament and in return Americans will be given the rights to elect representatives.

Explanation:

Previously  the British Parliament had a law where the American colonist had to pay taxes but on the other hand they were not given the right to elect their representatives. The Americans complaint against it and demanded for "no taxation without representation".

The main idea behind it was that as the Americans had to pay huge taxes they should be given the right to elect their representatives as the Britishers get, that is the opportunity to elect the representatives.

How do you think the changes in spending will affect the economy?
iren2701 [21]
I think that if you are spending so much on little necessities, then your wasting money because the only things you need to buy are the things you actually need. Not electronics, not toys, just the simple things you need. Not phones, not PS4s, nothing like that. You pretty much are wasting your life on doing those type things. Your losing more energy everyday doing stuff like that. It is really not helping much when you do things like that because like I said, your wasting your energy, your money, and trees and minerals and things to keep the ACTUAL things we need in life today, like food and shade for when it's hot out from the trees. But you also need to keep in mind, the more money we make and things, more trees go away. Animals might even be dying from this. That is how I think the changes in spending will effect the economy.
