Answer: Simple, gravitational pull

Explanation: The closer you are to the center of mass, the more gravitational pull. For example, when we are in earth, there's gravity obviously but when we are outside the atmosphere, there's no gravity. The only reason why our plantes maintain in line is because of the spin within of the milky way and the gravitational pull of the other planets.
