Given example 1) 2×4=8 and 8 is greater than 2 and 4 , therefore it can be the counter example for the given conditional statement.

2) 5×(-3)=-15 but -15 (which is negative) is less than 5 (which is positive).Therefore it cannot be the counter example for the given conditional statement.
