The answer is I was going to be late for band practice; therefore, I decided to bring the band director a cookie.

This form of a sentence is called conjuction. This is the best practice to connect sentences and to make coordination in terms of cause and effect. The conjuction used in this sentence is the word "therefore".

How does googles ads use pathos to persuade their audience to use their search engine
MrMuchimi

Greek lesson time! (Well, not really. The words are so commonly used it might as well be considered English now.) Anyway, let’s examine what each of these terms means. Aristotle referred to orators when he spoke about persuasion, so let’s assume that there is some random anonymous speaker anxiously standing nearby who I will refer to.

Ethos pertains to the credibility of the speaker.

Pathos refers to the emotional appeal of the speaker.

Logos concerns the logic of the speaker.

But how does web design relate to all of this? Well, a website, much like our random, anxious, anonymous, and non-existent orator, is a communication vessel. Now let’s look at ethos, pathos, and logos again and translate them into web design speak.

The night whose sable breast relieves the stark. White stars is no less lovely being dark. Is this an example of imagery, allusi
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

It seems to me that this piece would either be an example of imagery, or an example of a metaphor.

Explanation:

An allusion means to reference someone else's work. Ambiguity is like a play on words. It just seems to me that this would either be imagery or metaphor over the other options.
