When writing an explanatory piece you have to consider the following elements:

- Research: first of all, make sure you have all the data and information you need. You migh want to include a glossary or a bibliography.

- Title: you should write a title that helps the reader identify the topic or even your thoughts on the topic.

- Introduction: you need to introduce your topic with a brief description of it since your readers might not be experts on the topic.

- Structure: write your essay using sequential paragraphs for making it easy for the reader. On each paragraph you should focus on one element or reason for the explanation you are writing.

- Visuals: consider including graphics, flow charts or other visual information that can make it easier for your readers to understand your point.

- Specialised vocabulary: keep your audience in mind. While they might not be experts in the field, you might have to use technical or specialised language. If so, make sure you explain these key word so they can understand you point.

- Key words: make sure you use certain key words related to the topic you are writing about. This repetition will help your readers to follow your text and remain focused on it.

- Connective language: use connectors to imply a cycle of cause and effect in your explanations. It will also make it easier for the audience to follow your dissertation and connecting paragraphs. The use of action verbs and present tense will also prove useful.

- Conclusion: sum up the information you have developed in the core of the text in a pair of clear and concise lines.

- Review: once you have a final draft, revise it no make sure you have developed argument correctly and the audience will be able to follow your points.

What is the plural of a two-word proper name? E.g.,
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

There are many “Tom Smiths” in the Manhattan phone book.

Explanation:

Although using plural for proper nouns may seem strange since it's not common in everyday speech, there is an established set of rules that deals with it. When we talk about two-word personal proper nouns, the most important rules are as follows:

- only the second word is used to make plural form

- in most cases adding "s" is the correct way

- if proper nouns end with "s" or "z" then we need to add "es" to make proper plural form (one Patty Mills, three Patty Millses)

So, with this in mind, the correct answer would be adding "s" on the second word (Tom Smiths)
