2- Jack told Lady Bracknell that Cecily would be rich. As a consequence of that, Lady Bracknell changed mind and she accepted Cecily as a suitable wife for her nephew Algernon. Like this, she consented the marriage of Algy and Cecily. But, later, Jack, Cecily's guardian, didn't consent the wedding.
