Answer:

As u can see, we don't know if this is a right-angle triangle, so...

we can use the law of cosines

here's the formula -  c2 = a2 + b2 − 2ab cos (of C)

(the 2 means squared)

so suppose:

360= a,    and ∠A= the angle between 250 and ?

250= b,   and  ∠B= the angle between ? and 360

&  ? = c,   and  ∠C= 34

(btw there is no strict format for the formula, refer to the pic i put)

so applying this to the formula ( c2 = a2 + b2 − 2ab cos (of C) ) ... we get...

?2= 360^2 + 250^2 - 2*360*250 cos(34)

?2 = =207.058535m

Write an algebraic expression to describe the combined number of posts for Jenny and Antonio after any given number of days
Charra [1.4K]
Suppose Jenny publishes X post per day, and Antonio publishes Y post per day.
So, the combined number of posts will be X+Y multiplied by the number of days.

For example, if the numbers of days is Z, Jenny and Antonio published Z(X+Y) posts.

First write the expression 1.5a + 4.7 + 0.25a - 0.3 - 0.5a as a sum
laiz [17]

Answer:

1.25a+4.4

Step-by-step explanation:

First add the variables (in this case the only variable is a) so it would be 1.5a+0.25-0.5a = 1.25a.

Then add the non variable numbers together which would be 4.7-0.3 = 4.4.

What is the equivalent trig ratio to cos 18 ?
Anika [276]

Answer:

\sin{72^\circ}

Step-by-step explanation:

In a right triangle, the two acute angles are complementary--they add up to 90 degrees.

Cosine is defined as the adjacent side divided by the hypotenuse.  In the attached picture,  \cos{18^\circ}=\frac{a}{h}.

The other acute angle is 90 - 18 = 72 degrees.  Looking at just that angle, side <em>a</em> is the opposite side.  So the ratio a/h is opposite over hypotenuse -- the sine ratio.

Therefor, \cos{18^\circ} = \sin{72^\circ}
