The answer to the mathematics question presented above would be letter a) 8 and 1/2 feet. If a roof's slope is 0.5, the height of the rise of the roof over a 17 foot run would be 8 and 1/2 feet. I got this answer through multiplying the slope and the run to get the rise.

Answer a) 8 and half feet.

You calculate it in this way

slope = rise / run ⇒ rise = slope * run = 0.5 * 17 feet = 8.5 feet.

Sonja [21]
Given:1 basket = 4 soaps + 2 lotions127 total soaps85 total bottles of lotion First divide the total amount of soap by however many is needed to make single basket.  127/4 = 31.75  ≈ 31 sets Then divide the total amount of lotion by however many is needed to make single basket 85/2 = 42.5 ≈ 42 sets You will need to pick the whichever number is lower/ This will ensure that you have all the supplies you need to make a complete basket. Therefore, you can make 31 complete baskets.

Answer:

y=2/3x-16/3

Step-by-step explanation:

ok ill show you how to do one question since the rest will take too long so what you do is

equation is y=mx+b right

so you have slope and these points (2,-4) and m=2/3

y=2/3x +b right

now all you do is sub in x and y which are ur given points

-4=2/3 (2) +b

now you solve for b

-4 = 4/3 + b

-4-4/3 = b

-12/3 - 4/3 = b

-16/3=b so therefore

y=2/3x-16/3

Amanda [17]

Alright, lets get started.

The two largest lizards in the United States are the Gila Monster and the Chuckwalla.

The average lenght of Gila monster is 0.608 meter long.

The average length of Chuckwalla is 0.395 meter long.

many times as long is the Gila Monster as the Chuckwalla will be = \frac{0.608}{0.395} = 1.539

To the nearest hundred, it is 1.54

It means Gila Monster is 1.54 times as the Chuckwalla.   :   Answer

Hope it will help :)
