Answer:

The case referred to in the question is Dred Scott v. Sandford.

Explanation:

Dred Scott was an eslaved man from Virginia who worked for a few years in Huntsville, Alabama. Years later he was taken by his owners to the Missouri territory.

Because the most of the Missouri territory was designated as "free", when his owners tried to take him back slave territory, Dred Scott sued them arguing that having set foot in free territory, he was now a freeman.

The Supreme Court ruled against him: it ruled that black people were not citizens and could not seek the protections and rights that the U.S. constitution granted to citizens.

EASY BRAINLIEST PLEASE HELP!!
Minchanka [31]
The best I can think of is political groups. So, I’ll be basing this off of American politics. The conservatives, or rightists, wish to promote tradition, free market economy, and more social restrictions. The liberals, or leftists, wish to bring about change in their country, having more social freedoms, and more government regulation of the economy. Each side’s views can vary on how extreme or moderate they are, and how violently they feel about their opinion. I’m not looking to get political, so no one start commenting political stuff in the comment section. Hope this helps.

Was Napoleon Bonaparte a subvetor or preserver of the ideas of the French Revolution?
marta [7]

Answer:

Napoleon Bonaparte can be viewed as both the preserver and destroyer of the French Revolution. While he certainly, institutionalized the core values of the French Revolution such as legal rights through his well known Napoleonic Code, his personal traits such as the need for conquest and power resulted in tyranny across Europe. Napoleon kept true to the revolution in the sense that his laws and codes solidly abolished the old regime and monarchy in France. At the same time however, one can argue that his rule was marked by his own self interests. That he chose which ideals of the revolution he would keep or leave out in order to maintain his power over Europe.
