The answer is D: 1/12 because if Lou chooses the first book as book A that is a 1/4 chance. And if Lou were to choose book B as their second book that would be a 1/3 chance. Multiply the two fractions for a final answer and you have 1/12 :)

What is the next term of AP : √2, √8, √18, .......?
solmaris [256]

Answer:

\sqrt {32}

Step-by-step explanation:

Next term of the given AP can be obtained by adding common difference (d) in the last term \sqrt {18}

d =  \sqrt{18}  -  \sqrt{8}  = 3 \sqrt{2}  - 2 \sqrt{2}  =  \sqrt{2}  \\ next \: term =  \sqrt{18}  +  \sqrt{2}   \\  = 3 \sqrt{2}  +  \sqrt{2}  \\  = 4 \sqrt{2}  \\  =  \sqrt{ {4}^{2} \times 2 }  \\  =  \sqrt{16 \times 2}  \\  \huge \red{ \boxed{next \: term =  \sqrt{32} }}

PLEASE HELP ME ACE THIS<br><br> angle a = ___ degrees
Ludmilka [50]

Angle B = ADC arc / 2

32 = ADC arc / 2

ADC arc = 2 × 32

ADC arc = 64

_________________________________

ADC arc + ABC arc = 360

64 + ABC arc = 360

ABC arc = 360 - 60 - 4

ABC arc = 300 - 4

ABC arc = 296

_________________________________

Angle D = ABC arc / 2

x = 296 / 2

x = 148

_________________________________

Angle A = x - 40

Angle A = 148 - 40

Angle A = 108 degrees
