Cultural pluralism is a term used when smaller groups within a larger society maintain their unique cultural identities, and their values and practices are accepted by the wider culture provided they are consistent with the laws and values of the wider society. As a sociological term, the definition and description of cultural pluralism has evolved over time. It has been described as not only a fact but a societal goal.[1] Cultural pluralism is distinct from (though often confused with) multiculturalism. Multiculturalism lacks the requirement of a dominant culture. If the dominant culture is weakened, societies can easily pass from cultural pluralism into multiculturalism without any intentional steps being taken by that society. If communities function separately from each other, or compete with one another, they are not considered culturally pluralistic

Which difficult position might historians find themselves in?
kramer
The answer is "wanting to disguise the truth they have uncovered."
Some historians find this tough. One of the reasons would be because not all people may or may not, like the truth. Some historians would omit some part of the truth to keep violent reactions from the readers or outsiders.

What factors contributed to the United States becoming a world leader?
polet [3.4K]

Answer;

D. the United States suffering no war damage and having a strong economy

Explanation;

-The industrial revolution really caught the US up in the global scheme of things, but it was WWII that put the US (and the Soviet Union) in the forefront as leaders of the world.

-After the war,the US economy was really boosted, while Europe's was practically in shambles. Also, because the US helped Europe significantly in both world wars, it received kind of a morale/self-esteem boost of sorts. Moreover, because the country wasn't physically involved in the war, it didn't have to deal with repairing its land.
