  • Many victims of sexual abuse are more likely to have depression, anxiety, or PTSD because of their traumatic childhood.
  • During World War One many soldiers suffered from Shell shock, which happened in over 80,000 soldiers. Shell shock was what they called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder before it had got the name, because it was first noticed in these soldiers, it was noticed before (called soldier's heart in the Civil War) but this time it was really noticed because it was on such a large scale.
  • Many people who do psychedelic drugs are at risk for developing serious and chronic mental disorders such a psychosis and schizophrenia, you might here it being coined as (a trip someone never came back form.).
