The table and the graph each show a different relationship between the same two variables, x and y:

Mathematics

Equation of the table is given by
y - 210 = (280 - 210)/(4 - 3) (x - 3)
y - 210 = 70(x - 3)
y - 210 = 70x - 210
y = 70x

When x = 11, y = 70(11) = 770

Equation of the graph is given by
y = 110/2 x = 55x

When x = 11, y = 55(11) = 605

Therefore the value of y in the table is grater than the value of y in the graph by 770 - 605 = 165

<em>There is no specific requirement in the question, but I'm assuming you need to compute the time needed for Alexis reach 1,000,000 Instagram followers</em>

Answer:

t= 462.82\ days

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Exponential Growth </u>

When the number of observed elements grows as the previous value multiplied by a constant ratio, we have exponential growth. The formula to model such situations is

\displaystyle f(x) = f_o(1 + r)^t

Where f_o is the initial value of f, 1 + r is the constant ratio, and t is the time expressed in half days (12 hours)

The initial value is 100 Instant followers, thus:

\displaystyle f(x) = 100(1.01)^t

We need to know when the number of followers will reach 1,000,000. Setting up the equation

\displaystyle 100(1.01)^t=1,000,000

Simplifying by 100

\displaystyle (1.01)^t=10,000

Taking logarithms

\displaystyle t\ log(1.01)=log\ 10,000

\displaystyle t\ log(1.01)=4

Solving for t

\displaystyle t=\frac{4}{log(1.01)}=925.63 periods of 12 hrs

t= 462.82\ days

Find the missing side length of the right triangle. show work.
motikmotik

Answer:

6.32

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the side length on a right angled triangle we follow The Pythagorean Theorem:

{a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}

c being the hypothesis (longest side: the hypotenuse is always opposite the right angle)

so..

{6}^{2}  +   {2}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  \\ 36 + 4 =  {x}^{2}  \\ 40 =  {x}^{2} \\  \sqrt{40}   =  \sqrt{ {x}^{2} } \\

6.32 = x

The International Business Club starts the school year with $250.50 in their account. They spend $35 each month on activities. T
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

250.50 - 35m = 300 - 45.25m

Step-by-step explanation:

Whenever an equation asks for when it will take x (or m in this case) amount of things or time you should know that there will be 2 different equations that have to equal each other

The equation will be 250.50 - 35m = 300 - 45.25m

The 35m is being subtracted from 250.50 because they are losing money each time they spend. This also applies to 45.25m

Also 35m and 45.25m are variables because it says they spend that much money each month. They don't specify how many months, so we have to put a variable after it.
