7 casue 8*x+x=63 9x=63 x=63/9 =7 so x=7(this is the fish weight) lets prove this 8*7+7=63 56+7=63 63=63 so we have proven it

A rock drops from a height of 60m. how long does it take for it to hit the ground?
laila [671]

To solve for the time an object takes to hit the ground, the equation

y = y₀ + v₀t + ½gt², or just 0 = y₀ +½gt² since there is no initial velocity and the final y position is 0 (since it is on the ground). Therefore, t = (−2y₀/g)^½.

(-2*60/-9.8)^½ = 3.50 seconds.

Write 6,000,370 in scientific notation. 0.600037 x 10-7 6.00037 x 10-6 6.00037 x 106 0.600037 x 107
e-lub [12.9K]
The third answer is right. Scientific notation is always expressed with one digit before the decimal and is multiplied by the power of ten to compensate for the offset.

Also when writing without access to superscript use either of these methods to express the exponent.
6.000370 x 10^6
6.000370 E6

Which of the following represents a geometric sequence?
grin007 [14]

Answer:

Option 1 is a geometric sequence.

I 1/4, 1/4, 1/4, 1/4

II 1/4, 1/5, 1/6

III 1/4, 1, -4, 1/6

IV 1/4, -4, 1/4, -4

For any geometric sequence there should be a common ratio

To find common ratio we divide consecutive terms

lets check option I

I 1/4, 1/4, 1/4, 1/4

When we divide 1/4 by 1/4 we will get 1

Same 1 for other two terms, so common ratio is 1

Hence the first option is a geometric sequence
