Answer:

They could damage or kill hundreds of species

Explanation:

Global warming as we can all agree is incredibly harmful, one such problem being that a large release in carbon dioxide can have a profound affect on clams. As more and more CO2 is released about 40% of it is absorbed by the oceans, which is good as the planet doesn't heat as rapidly but in turn makes the oceans more acidic. This acidity means that clams cannot absorb the nutrients needed for shell growth and are eaten by predators more. This causes a shift in the food chain and now thee are less clams so therefore less food for all other animals. In addition all ocean wildlife will decrease. This can also have a profound affect on coral reefs, causing bleaching. Coral reefs hold up to only 0.1% of the ocean area yet support up to 25% of ocean wildlife.

In late adulthood, Mr. Klondike has become increasingly likely to make a socially impolite remarks about other people's appearan
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

frontal

Explanation:

  • In a mammalian brain, there are four major lobes that are present and one of them is the frontal lobe.
  • The frontal lobe is mainly rich in dopaminergic neurons and thus, it is mainly concerned with functions such as memory, reward, motivation, planning, attention, etc.
  • The process of break down of tissues and cell death in the tissues is referred to as atrophy and since the frontal lobe is associated with the functions as mentioned above its atrophy would lead to a slow decline in these functions.
  • Since Mr. Klondlike behavior is changing his blunt comments are most likely a result of atrophy of the frontal lobe.
