This is true, that Colombia is north of Brazil and in actual fact it is NW of Brazil. Colombia and Venezuela are both north of Brazil. Brazil is the largest country in Latin America and forms part of the BRIC countries ie Brazil Russia India China that have a large economic impact on the world.
