Because of the popular support of people and pressure and more the concern of the budget the government of the united states wants to settle the demobilization of armed forces as quickly as it has done.

In response to political pressure, the government reduced the size of the army from 12 million to 1.5 million in the process of demobilization.

President Truman proposed a new fair deal bypassing social legislation which established public housing, minimum fixed wages and house loans other facilities to the veterans.
