Well the conversion of cm to m is 100cm for every meter. This means that depending on the amount of cm you can imagine that the decimal place is moved 2 places over to give you 1. Therefore if you are given 155 cm, after moving the decimal over 2 places you get 1.55 meters. So, since 1.55 m is smaller than 1.6 m, the tablecloth will cover a table that is 1.6 m long.

I hope this helps!

The output of a process is stable and normally distributed. If the process mean equals 23.5, the percentage of output expected t
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

Option a) 50% of output expected to be less than or equal to the mean.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

The output of a process is stable and normally distributed.

Mean = 23.5

We have to find the percentage of output expected to be less than or equal to the mean.

Mean of a normal distribution.

  • The mean of normal distribution divides the data into exactly two equal parts.
  • 50% of data lies to the right of the mean.
  • 50% of data lies to the right of the mean

Thus, by property of normal distribution 50% of output expected to be less than or equal to the mean.

On the coordinate grid, the graph of y= 3/x-1+3 is shown. it is a translation of y =3/x
crimeas [40]

Answer:

1 unit right and 3 units up

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph of the given function has equation

f : y =  \frac{3}{x - 1}  +  3

This is obtained after translating the graph of

g : y =  \frac{3}{x}

We can rewrite f in terms g to obtain:

f(x) = g(x - 1) + 3

This is a shift to the right by 1 unit and and a shift up by 3 units.

Therefore

y =  \frac{3}{x - 1}  +  3

is a translation of

y =  \frac{3}{x}

1 unit right and 3 units up
