In short, a good citizen is one who is aware of his civic obligations and works to ensure that they are long and promote the general well-being and compliance with political and governmental precepts. This is not the same as being a good person, since being a good citizen is linked to civil and legal responsibilities, while being a good person is linked to kindness and the fulfillment of society's ethical and moral concepts.
