I would say that the main cause of the global amplification of climate change is the burning of fossil fuels such as car gas and coal. The burning of such fuels creates CO2 which is a major constituent of greenhouse gas which keeps the earth's heat trapped on the earth and causes the temperature to rise abnormally.
