bixtya [17]

Answer: Increasing intake of plant foods may be one of the easiest ways to decrease LDL blood cholesterol.

Trans fats are worse for heart health than saturated fats because they raise LDL cholesterol and lower HDL cholesterol.

Explanation:

The LDL or low density lipoprotein cholestrol is also called as the bad cholesterol. It increases the risk of heart diseases as the LDL cholesterol gets deposited in the blood vessels which brings oxygenated blood to the heart. This results in the condition of atherosclerosis.

The diet which consists of increased levels of trans fats will increase the concentration of LDL in the blood.

Also the food which consists of mono and polyunsaturated fats as well as the plant based diet will also reduce the concentration of LDL cholesterol in the blood.

Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

Explanation:

The well-recognized association is that as the economy of a nations advances, so the health of its inhabitants progresses. However, it should be known that the reverse is also true, that is, improving the health of citizens in a country can directly result in economic development. Better health care is fundamental to human well being and happiness. A healthy population is more productive at work and hence increase in economic development. Moreover, when citizens are healthy, they tend to save more as they will be few incidences of illness. As a result, funds saved will be diverted to investment projects that will cause economic growth and development in a nation.

With an increase in economic growth and development in a country, the level of poverty and inequalities will also decline. Such an environment will provide a good foundation for the flourishing of a coherent democracy. In most cases, nations with high level of inequalities and poverty are known to encounter political instabilities.
