The correct answer is D, as they decreased hourly wages and salaries in the state.

The Liberty Ships were a series of artillery cargo ships built in the United States during World War II to satisfy the Lend-Lease Act with Britain, replacing the merchant fleet sunk by German submarines and to maintain supply convoys with the Soviet Union. The Liberty were called the victory ships.

Some 200 ships were built in the State of Georgia, where workers were hired who roughly built a ship every 9 days. In order to obtain this performance, the working hours were extended and more personnel were hired, reducing salaries so as not to exceed the expected expenses, all under the excuse of being an "effort for war".

your score on intelligence tests does not indicate how well you control your impulses or deal effectively with social conflict.
makvit [3.9K]

Your score on the intelligence tests does not indicate how well you control your impulses or deal effectively with social conflict. This best illustrates that intelligence is: existential intelligence.

Existential intelligence, according to Gardner, is "a preoccupation with ultimate life issues." Humans' propensity for contemplating life's most fundamental concerns makes them a possibility for this intellect. What makes us human? What causes death? What is our origin?

Intelligence of the Existence

Sensitivity and the ability to address complex issues related to human existence, such as the purpose of life, the causes of death, and the afterlife. Deep and reflective thinking, ability to create abstract hypotheses.

Existential intelligence is possessed by philosophical intellectuals. One of the nine categories of intelligence put forth by American psychologist Howard Gardner is existential intelligence. Actually, it's one of the more uncommon kind of intellect. But you can learn to hone it, just like any other talent.

Describe the effects of lead as a pollutant and how we can reduce our exposure to this harmful chemical
eimsori [14]
Lead pollution can have detrimental effects on ecosystems. Lead disposed of in soil where people live, work and grow crops may eventually enter the body leading to lead poisoning. This affects the central nervous system and causes mental issues in young children. Both adults and children suffer from nausea, and brain and kidney damage from high levels of lead poisoning which may result in death.
To reduce the impact of lead individuals who work in landfill areas should lake special measures such as wearing protective clothing. One can also avoid using products such as paints that may contain lead.
