<span> When the victims were divided into weak and able, Wiesel’s father was selected to go to the left which is the weak group. Wiesel prompted to run after his father and the SS men were attempted to pursue him but it created confusion so the other prisoners including Wiesel and his father switched to the right side. This helped them survive the selection at Gleiwitz. </span>
I believe it was the Arab Oil Embargo, because during this time we weren’t receiving as much oil so the speed limit had to go down to 55mph to preserve what we did have.
