What you have to do to find the median of the data is first put that data into order numerically. You can go largest to smallest or smallest to largest, it doesn't matter.   <span>

22, 24, 28, 28, 30, 31, 31, 32, 32, 35, 36, 37, 38, 41, 42, 42, 44, 44, 45, 46, 46, 47, 47, 49, 50

Once you put them into order, you count towards the middle. You have 25 data points, so the middle, which will be your median number, will be 13 points in.

The median is 38</span>

Answer:The mean age is 38.28. The median age is 38.

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the mean and median ages.

a. The mean age is 38.28. The median age is 38.

b. The mean age is 38. The median age is 38.28.

c. The mean age is 37.08. The median age is 38.

d.The mean  age is 36.88. The median age is 37.08.

Use the calculator to graph the function y = 2x2 25x + 3. What are the coordinates of the turning point of the graph to the near
olga2289 [7]

Use the calculator to graph the function y = 2x^2+ 25x + 3

In the graph , the coordinates of the vertex is the turning point of the graph.

Given function is the quadratic function. For quadratic function the graph will be U shaped parabola.

There will be only one turning point for parabola

Turning point is the vertex

To find vertex we use formula x= \frac{-b}{2a}

y = 2x^2+ 25x + 3

a=2, b= 35

x =\frac{-25}{2*2}  =\frac{-25}{4} = -6.25

Now plug in \frac{-25}{4} in f(x)

y= 2(\frac{-25}{4})^2+ 25(\frac{-25}{4})  + 3

Take common denominator

y= \frac{625}{8}+ (\frac{-625}{4})  + 3 =\frac{625-1250+24}{8} =-\frac{601}{8} = -75.125

So coordinates of turning point is (-6.25, -75.13)

The graph is attached below.
