Okay, for this one, for it to be linear, the x has to be adding or subtracting the same amount each time (same goes for y). You have to remember that the x and y do not correspond, only the sides themselves. As you can tell, Student 1 goes up by 1 on the x side each time, and on the y side, it goes up by 5 each time.
