Answer:

(0,1)- y intercept (1,0) x intercept

Step-by-step explanation:

first lets write this equation in slope intercept form: y=mx+b

m=slope

b=y intercept

so

slope formula:

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

y2=-3

y1=9

x2=4

x1=-8

so

(-3-9)/(4--8)=-12/12=-1

slope=-1

hence

y=-1x+b

substitute "x" as 4 and "y" as -3

so

-3=-1(4)+b

-3=-4+b

1=b

so

y=-x+1

1=y intercept

and

0=-x+1

-1=-x

1=x

1=x intercept

To find the experimental probability of rolling a three, write a ratio of the number of times three occurs to the total number of trials. Simplify if necessary.

5/30 = 1/6 or 0.166 or 16.6% or 17%.

7x - 5y = 22
7x - 9y = 6
What's y?
Vesna [10]
You can do this by taking away the second equation from the first to get rid of the x terms so:

7x - 7x = 0
-5y - -9y = - 5y + 9y = 4y
22-6 = 16

So you are left with the equation:
4y = 16

Divide both sides by 4 to find y
y = 4
