Many nations use oceans to drill for oil which is a non-renewable resource that often damages the ocean and can cause major problems for the biome. This means also that more oil is used then so that's bad for the environment too. Sometimes there is an oil spill which kills many animals and plants that live in the ocean and cause a natural disaster. Even renewable resources from oceans like using water and dams to make electricity can be problematic because the water gets polluted. It would be best if countries switched to things like solar energy and wind energy.

THE CLIMATE OF THE BRITISH ISLES
There is an important difference between describing weather of a place and the climate of a place. Weather refers to the short term conditions of the atmosphere at the local scale. Climate refers to the long term (30 years) conditions of the atmosphere at a regional scale. We can also refer to micro-climates but only in particular to unique climates given the general climatic conditions of the surrounding area. A good example of a micro climate is the urban climate.
Increase
Explanation:
The discharge of a river traveling through a temperate region will typically increase downstream. For arid regions, the discharge decreases downstream.
- Discharge is the volume of water of a river that flows through a point per seconds.
- In a temperate region, as a river flows downstream, more bodies of water from different sources joins together with it.
- Rivers generally tend to flow into natural basins which are located downstream.
- These basins are located at very low elevation.
- As more bodies of water collects together, the volume of the water will increase and so is the discharge too.
