Why do scientists think earth's core contains iron?

Geography
1 answer:
fgiga [73]3 years ago

The overall specific gravity of the earth is much higher than the specific gravity of crustal rocks which means the earth is about twice as heavy as the rocks on the surface would suggest. Iron meteorites are thought to have the same composition as the average earth, and the meteorites contain a lot more iron than the Earth's surface rocks.

zzz [600]

Answer: The correct answer is option D. The Uranian rotation axis produces some extreme seasonal effects.

Explanation:

Uranus is the only planet in our solar system whose equator is nearly at a right angle to its path of movement (orbit) with a tilt of 97.77°.

Uranus lies almost sideways with respect to the plane of its orbit of movement.

It has four seasons like earth, the tilt gives the planet its seasons.
