The correct order of events occurring in sexual reproduction is:

1. Meiosis

2. Fertilization

3. Mitosis

4. Birth

Explanation:

The type of reproduction in which fission of male and female gametes leads to the formation of embryo is called sexual reproduction. The first step in this process is gametogenesis in which through meiosis mode of cell division, male and female gametes formed.

Secondly the so formed gametes fuses with one another in the process called as fertilization. As a result of fertilization embryo forms. Through mitosis mode of cell division, the embryo gets converted into zygote after which birth occurs.

Describe the relationship between evolution, genetic mutation, and the environment.
Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

The meaningful differences between organisms in a population are genetic. Variations in the genome of members of a population arise through mutation.
