Now in ecosystem A, 100 new squirrels are produced which later on move to a new ecosystem B (located at a distance of 2 Km from ecosystem A). Let's suppose the initial squirrel population was 100 in ecosystem B. After the migration of 100 new squirrel,  the new population of squirrel in ecosystem B becomes 200.  

Since population density in directly proportional to the population of a species, the increase in population of squirrel in ecosystem B , would definitely lead to an increase in population density of squirrel in ecosystem B
