In order to factore it u have to set the first term seperate
E.J.
(x   )(x   ), now the 2 signs are positive so the signs inside are positive as well
(x+  )(x+  ), now divide 15 in 2 numbers that can be multiplied to get 15 and added or subtracted to get 8, 5 times 3 equals 15 and when u add them you get 8 so this ones are good, so your factors would be
(x+3)(x+50

Hope this helps

Complete the factored form of the algebraic expression 18a + 3 = 3( _____+_____)
rodikova [14]
So to factorise an expression, you put it into a form where if you expanded the brackets, you'd get the given expression.. if that makes sense. Therefore, you need to multiply the 3 by something to get 18a, and so the first term is 6a. You don't need to multiply 3 by anything to get 3, so the second term is 1. The final result looks like:
3(6a + 1)
