The Chinese Civil War has confronted Chinese Communists and nationalists Kuomintang based on a diference in thinking and disputes over legitimacy, they've tried to unite, like when they joined forces agaisnt the Empire of Japan and its attempts to invade China, but after Japan was defeated they kept fighting each other.
