William earns $13 an hour working at a movie theater last week he worked h hours at the concession stand and three times as many
maw [93]
I think the expression for that is 13 • h • 3 because he gets $13 per hour and we don't know how many hours he worked so we would just put a variable and then he worked three times as many hours so multiply by 3. I might be wrong but hopefully it helps

Find the domain of f/g
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

C. All real numbers except 3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given

f(x)=3x^2+x^4+2

g(x)=4x-3

Firstly, we will find f/g

\frac{f}{g}=\frac{3x^2+x^4+2}{4x-3}

Domain:

We know that domain is all possible values of x for which any function is defined

so, we know that denominator of any function can not be zero

so, firstly we set denominator =0

and then we can solve for x

4x-3=0

Add both sides by 3

4x-3+3=0+3

4x=3

x=\frac{3}{4}

so, this function is defined for all values of x except at

x=\frac{3}{4}

Domain will be

All real numbers except 3/4

What is the sum of the areas of circle C and circle D?
Morgarella [4.7K]
Assuming that the center of each circle is at point C and D, then both have a radius of 7cm. We know that the formula for solving area of the circle is A=pi*r².
Then we solve area of once circle multiplied by two to get the total area of the given circles. The solution is shown below:
C1 area=3.1416*7²
C1 area=153.9384 cm²
Summation of the area of circle C and D is shown below:
Sum area=2*153.9384
Sum area=307.8768cm²

The answer is 98pi.
