In Central America there's multiple languages that are spoken, some are widespread, while some are spoken only in some region. This is due to the fact that there were already native languages on this territory when Europeans came and some have been preserved till nowadays. On top of that the Europeans had a big influence and brought their languages and implemented them as official languages, so we nowadays there's a big diversity in languages that are spoken. The most widespread is the Spanish, and after it follow the Mayan languages, English Creoles, Miskito, Ngabere, Garifuna, English, etc...
