Germany's invasion of neighboring Poland Which of these allowed the United States to send "all aid short of war" to Britain desp
jekas [21]

Answer: 3. Lend-Lease Act

Explanation:

FDR had campaigned under a slogan saying that he would keep the United States out of the war and so the United States was neutral during the first years of the second World War even though they were still strongly pro-British.

In order to preserve that neutrality whilst still supporting the British and other allies, Congress signed the Lend-Lease act which allowed the U.S. to lend or lease supplies to Britain and her allies throughout the war. This was vital in stopping the German advance and winning the war.

Why do firms spend money and time to advertise?
marysya [2.9K]

Firms spend money and time to advertise to showcase their product among the competition.

Explanation:

Advertisement is a form of communication between a seller of goods/services and the consumer. It allows individuals to bring their goods/services in public eye, awarding them of the existence of the said goods/services.

Firms spend a lot of time and money on advertising because it is one of the most effective ways to increase sales and potential customers. It allows firms to expand their market area. As the area expands, so does the base of their audience and hence, more people learn about its existence. An effective advertisement requires time and money so that it looks more attractive and compelling among the competition.
