The three most important factors to consider when determining an audience's disposition toward a speaker's topic are the audience's <em>interest</em>, <em>knowledge</em>, and <em>attitude</em>. In the first place, it is important to know if the audience will like the topic. Will they be interested in the topic? Secondly, it is important to be aware of how much the audience knows about the topic and what their attitude be to it.
