What type of representation would the states have under the Virginia plan
sp2606 [1]
The Virginia Plan wanted representation proportional to the population of the state. It proposed a bicameral legislature (I think. Don't remember. It's been a long time!) in which states got seats in both houses based on how large their population was.

The way it's easy to remember is that Virginia was the biggest state in the country at the time, so naturally they thought the state with the biggest population should have the most votes!

How did Benedict established the basic form of monastic life in the western Christian church
Montano1993 [528]

Saint Benedict of Nursia founded the Benedictine monastery at Monte Cassino, he is also the father of Western monacticism. He sought to create a sacred school and community and a safe place free from distraction, negativity and vices so, he turned the monastery into a place of work, prayer and space to provide spiritual life and guidance. Inside the monastery people learnt how to live and worship according to his rule. If a person wanted to live as a cenobite monk, he had to renounce to his possessions and distractions and follow God.

He also wrote The rule of Saint Benedict which is a book consisting of precepts for monks living under the authority of an abbot. Benedictines have been using The Rule of Saint Benedict for 15 centuries. As a result Benedict is regarded as the founder of Western monasticism as his rules gave way to reforms on the current Catholic hierarch.

Explain in 1-2 complete sentences why the colonists in Maryland didn't want to pay the king's taxes after the French and Indian
Ahat [919]

Answer:

They felt the taxes violated their rights as British citizens.

Explanation:

The colonists in Maryland didn't want to pay the king's taxes after the French and Indian war, especially since they had no representation (voice) in the English government, because "they felt the taxes violated their rights as British citizens."

Also, just like other American colonists at the time, they felt that those taxes are high and "Intolerable, " for them to pay.
