The correct answer is A. Increase her caloric intake to give herself more energy.

Explanation

The human body works like a machine, hence we have to periodically check (visit the doctor) maintenance (have good habits of life) and in cases where it is damaged make repairs (follow medical treatments). Also, our body needs fuel to function, this fuel comes from the food we consume. For this, it is necessary to take into account the calories, a measure in which the energy value obtained from food is established. Therefore, in the case of Tiana who is going to make a bicycle trip with her father, the most important thing is that her diet gives priority to foods with high caloric levels because her muscles are going to need a lot of energy to perform basic operations of the body, and make that extra effort like riding a bicycle on long journeys. So, the correct answer is A. Increase her caloric intake to give herself more energy.

Most of the skills needed to be an independent adult cannot be learned while you are still living with your parents? True/False
marshall27 [118]
True.

Why? Because parents tend to teach their children based off of what happened to them as they grew up. As a young adult, you need to make your own mistakes and learn things the hard way. There is NOTHING your parents can do to prevent you from making mistakes and running into road blocks once in a while. Personally, my parents try to teach me the lessons they had to learn for themselves. However, just because your parents made some wrong decisions or did things they shouldn't have, doesn't mean that you will or won't make the same mistakes. It doesn't matter how often they bring up their mistaken situations of parental struggle, you very well could make the same mistakes. It's a matter of them (and you) accepting that you can't control everything, no matter how many lectures and acts of precaution you take. One of the most important parts about transitioning from childhood to adulthood is being able to learn from your own mistakes and taking responsibility for your own actions.

I hope this helps! :)
