Google definition: A natural monopoly is a type of monopoly that exists as a result of the high fixed costs or startup costs of operating a business in a specific industry. Additionally, natural monopolies can arise in industries that require unique raw materials, technology or other similar factors to operate.

My definition: When it takes a lot of money to start a bisness only rich people/ companies are in that industry. Same goes for things that are rare, if someone owns all the land that it is found on it becomes a natural Monopoly.
