Bolded words, which are heavily darkened words in a text, are one organizational aid. Bolded words draw the reader’s attention to that word; often, those words can be found in the glossary. Headings, which are words or phrases that appear at the head of a section, are a second organizational aid. Headings help the reader identify the topic of the information that is to follow and can help the reader to group information into more manageable chunks.

By definition, an organizational aid helps or assist readers in finding information. This is used in a text feature. <span>A text feature is something used to help a reader understand text.
