Answer: Because they are just regular wives of farmers and not detectives.

Explanation:

There are several twists to the play "Trifles." The women are not regular detectives that are normally on television. Instead, they are farmer wives. None of the women are psychics, talk to ghosts, write crime blogs/books, or cops.

The woman also do not share any evidence that they find with regular cops. They are not there to give the criminals any justice, they break the cases and go on to the next. They hide all evidence from the cops.

The play was written by Susan Glaspell.

All of the following describe words without specific meanings in songs except:____.
Luda [366]

Answer:

All of the following describe words without specific meanings in songs except : refrain.

Explanation:

Refrain basically means like you stop someone from doing something and I don't see how that is a specific meaning of songs.

The word vocalise means a singing exericse or it can be pitch in music so it would not be the answer.

The word scar-singing would not be the answer because you can see in the word it has the word singing and singing is related to music so that would not be the answer.

The word nonlexical is actually a syllable that people used in a good bit in music so it's not the answer.
