Cyclops was irritated with Odysseus because he tricked by him. Odysseus made him blind.  Odysseus did not said sorry even if the Cyclops offered to provide him a good treatment. The gods have power over men that is why Cyclops asked his father Poseidon to interfere with Odysseus' journey home as a revenge.

Answer:

The Cyclops is angry that Odysseus, a weak and tiny man, was able to blind him and trick him. To make matters worse, Odysseus has no regrets, and he does not apologize even though the Cyclops offers to treat him well if he returns. Instead, Odysseus insults Cyclops more than once during his escape. Cyclops knows that the gods have power over men's lives, and this is his only opportunity for revenge. Thus, he is motivated to seek revenge against Odysseus.

Based on your understanding, what is free verse.
Sever21 [200]

Free verse poetry does not follow a set rhyme scheme or structure.

There are no rules on writing a free verse poem like other poems such as haikus or concrete poems. These poems my not have any structure or rules but they tend to have lots of literary devices (ie metaphor, hyperbole, simile, etc). Free verse usually imitates natural speech.

Hope this helped!
