African slavery was an important profit for Europe. Trade and commerce of African slave where one of the most important ways  to  secure economic growth and power for Europe in terms of productive forces, production of their territory in new colonies and geopolitical expansion.

Transatlantic slave trade also spread African cultural traits where ever slave communities where, some of this traits where, for example: dances, music, religion, myth, traditions. Those  were transmitted from generation to generation.

The precense  of slaves in economic most important activities such as productive work in households and participation in everyday life would necesarilly mean a difussion of  African culture whitin other cultures, in this sense African culture represents  a continuity of African history.
